Rough Rice Futures Quotes

The CBOT rough rice futures contract is a contract for future physical delivery of 2,000 hundred weight (cwt) of rough rice; however, the vast majority of the futures positions are offset well before delivery. The CBOT rough rice futures contract is priced in dollars and cents per cwt. It trades in increments of $.005, and is quoted out three decimal points

Example:

16.425 means $16.42 and ½ cent

Rough Rice Options Quotes

The CBOT rough rice options contract controls 2,000 hundred weight (cwt.) of rough rice based on the underlying futures contract. The strike prices trade in 20-cent intervals. The premium is priced in cents per cwt. It options trades in increments of $.0025, and the price is quoted out 4 decimal points.

Example:

0.6125 means 61 and ¼ of a cent, and

$.6125 X 2,000 hundred weight = $1,225
